Very friendly staff, great food that is freshly prepared, very quick to serve my order. They tailored my order in seasoning and spices. I recommend trying Canton Kitchen. You won't be disappointed.
Great food fresh and delicious, our 1st time ordering and will definitely be back Fast service sorry no pictures
Best Chinese I've had in Alberta so far being from the maritimes. Chicken balls are best in town, the absolute best General Tao Chicken I've ever had - Actually spicy and not too sweet. Wontons were 100% awesome, beef and broccoli was decent. Only complaint is I couldn't get my chicken fried rice with no Peas.
One of the best restaurants in red deer. The authenticity of the foods are really good mostly the sweet and sour pork and fried wanton like there's no other chinese restaurants can make it. Totally recommended!
Delivery so didn’t go in. We are here last night the food is amazing ( it is the old fusion cook if you know this place) fresh, lots, reasonable for what you get. We can eat for 3 days. And so nice
Extremely impressed with how well they accommodate a gluten allergy. I’m always so happy with my meal. It’s a must stop place for me whenever I pass through red deer
Had their take out yesterday. Delicious!!!! I can taste the “wok hey “ in the fried rice (a taste and smell that’s really hard to obtain, food has to be cook at a very high temperature and very fast to get a sizzling- Smokey flavor). All the containers were stuff packed!!!! For two ppl with three dishes had tons of left over for the next day. I also I can smell a very sweet and gingery from the ginger beef, made with real ginger ( hence the name ginger beef). It stayed crunchy and full of flavour even after the following day. Sorry no pictures. I was to hungry. Reordered a week later. fried rice and ginger beef again. delicious and abundance of food. Added picture
If you don’t wanna read a lot, scroll down to paragraph 5 for what we ordered with specific review and paragraph 6 for overall food review. 1. On New Years Eve at our get together we called our usual Chinese food restraunt to order at 5:15pm. They said they are not taking any more orders currently and we could try back in a couple hours but no guarantee on being able to order even then. 2. I did a google map search for Chinese Restaurant. It shows the star ratings under the names of each place. We debated about a few but didn’t like how greasy they are. 3. Came across Canton Kitchen and it had a 4.0 . Which is about average for the decent restaurants. My usual is 4.2. I had eaten at Canton a few times about 20yrs ago when I worked nearby. It was good as far as I can remember. Cafe atmosphere. Upon calling they said it would take roughly 2 hours to get it delivered. Just grateful they were willing to do that so we ordered. 4. They have an excellent diner for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc... options. They have basic included items then you choose a certain number of items from a large list of options. 5. We had dinner for 4 (for party of 3) ordering 3 items from the large list of options. On top of the automatically included base items; spring rolls (option of egg rolls or fried wontons also), chicken fried rice (lots of flavor and no grease and sweet and sour chicken balls (look homemade with a large piece of chicken in each). We got ginger beef (very slight heat and tender with some fresh onions), chicken chow main (had lots of bean sprouts and veggies and could order this as a meal on its own.) and beef broccoli (perfect ratio of tender beef and bright crunchy broccoli.m). 6. I got to say the food was absolutely amazing! All of us absolutely loved it. Completely not greasy, veggies still had a little crunch, large portions (enough for 3 full meals after eating our supper), flavorful and still so hot upon delivery despite being a 15 minute drive to my home and -18. 7. It took about 2:20 to get the food. Just 20 minutes over the estimate. The kind lady was very grateful for the 40 tip. We tipped large as it was New Years Eve. Canton Kitchen is our new go to for Chinese food!!!
